ForzaTune is a free tuning calculator app for Forza Horizon and Motorsport. When you make major upgrades that change weight and weight distribution, the default tune can go out of balance. The further you upgrade your car, the more likely this is. But the fix is simple: use a tuning calculator to bring everything back into balance.

You can do that with ForzaTune by entering only a few details about your car. Hit "calculate" and then copy the results into the tuning menu in Forza.

ForzaTune also includes a tuning customizer to help you adjust balance and ride stiffness. The philosophy here is simple: there is no universally perfect or optimal tune. Instead, the tune should match the car *and* your driving preferences or skill.

Once you make a tune catered to how you like to drive, youll never go back. The extra few minutes making your own tune is well worth the time...and much faster than the hours some people spend fiddling with the sliders.

From there you can keep learning about tuning using the apps fine-tuning checklist. This lets you do many of the things our Pro app does automatically. Its a great place to learn!

This version of ForzaTune also includes a tuning wizard (like a tuning flowchart) to help you troubleshoot why a tune doesnt feel right. This can be used on any unlocked tune you find online or the default tunes, which are usually a good starting point if the car hasnt been upgraded too much.

Take your newly tuned cars and start winning more races or simply enjoying the drive as you cruise Horizon.

ForzaTune is a great way to become an experienced and competent tuner.

If you like ForzaTune be sure to check out ForzaTune Pro, available separately, which lets you tune for specific cars, tracks, power bands, drift, drag, rally and more...making better tunes even faster.

Whichever you choose youll be well on your way to better lap times and a more satisfying drive.

ForzaTune does not have third-party ads, in-app purchases, account sign-ups, or annoying time limits. You can make unlimited base tunes for the street or track as soon as you download it.

FAQs

Q: Which games does this support?
A: Any Forza Motorsport title or Forza Horizon 2 and later. Vehicles will typically need race suspension, anti-roll bars, brakes and differentials. In some cases, cars are stock adjustable and you should *not* install a rally suspension. You will also get better results without stability management (STM) and other assists. Fine-tuning in FH5 is best done with simulation steering since normal steering can "undo" some of your adjustments.

Q: How does it work?
A: Enter weight, weight distribution, performance index, and drive type. Hit "Next" to see your results. Copy those results to the tuning menu in Forza. Follow the "next steps" section below the results to make your tune even better.

Q: What is the difference between free and pro versions?
A: The free version creates base tunes using several assumptions. The pro version uses a more realistic model of each car to create tunes that require less fine-tuning. Also, the free version lets you make tunes for the street or a generic track. And the pro version lets you make and save all kinds of tunes including street/track, rally, drift, drag and off-road.

Take ForzaTune for a spin and see how easy it is to make your own tunes.
